How To Not Survive in the Wild

As snow from a very blustery Easter Weekend melted, the evidence of the terror it wreaked upon early season campers was evident. This site gave me a good chuckle. I hope it makes you laugh as well.

Desert Bighorn in the Canyon

Well, hello there, Lady!
I was checked out by 3 pairs of female Desert Bighorns on Grand Canyon's South Kaibab Trail in January 2009. This photo was taken at Tip Off.

Today

I am working in the camp ground today. It is so very nice to be working with positive, relaxed, kind and team oriented folks. I have a great view and can't wait for my weekend to begin. I am going to paint with pre schoolers, finish unpacking in my new home, make a pecan pie, make some pottery and have an all around good time!

I hope my bff has a quick and painless operation today, that she heals quickly and doesn't say anything too terrible embarrassing to her boyfriend while coming out of anesthesia.

Jane Said It!

“She was a woman of mean understanding, little information, and uncertain temper.”- Jane Austen

I can't wait to get back into the field. How is it that intelligent, far thinking individuals think highly of me, my noggin and my accrued skills, while dull, dimwitted dodo brained individuals think so very little of me?
